The head of the manufacturing platform serves as the highest authority for the company’s water resource management, overseeing the formulation and supervision of water resource management policies and regulations, and reporting relevant matters to the Executive Committee regularly every year.
TCL CSOT has established a comprehensive water resource management system, including water usage monitoring, data analysis, and optimized water use processes, to continuously improve water resource utilization efficiency; in addition, it adopts high-efficiency cleaning technologies, water-saving production processes, and cooling water system optimization to enhance effective water utilization and recycling, reducing water intake.
TCL CSOT has installed real-time online monitoring devices for pollutants at the discharge points of each production base; regularly engages external professional agencies for water quality testing and monitoring to ensure wastewater meets local pipeline or discharge standards.
TCL CSOT Shenzhen Base has built an artificial wetland covering an area of 45,000 square meters; the effluent from the wetland meets the Class Ⅳ surface water standard, effectively reducing the pollution load of the Maozhou River, improving river water quality, and significantly reducing environmental pollution. Meanwhile, the treated wastewater is integrated into the municipal water reuse system, realizing the recycling and reuse of water resources.
TCL CSOT regularly entrusts third-party testing institutions to test the company’s drinking water; in addition, it replaces the filters of direct drinking water dispensers monthly; we will continue to fulfill corporate responsibilities in accordance with the highest standards, safeguarding the cleanliness and safety of every drop of water.
On August 27, 2025, TCL CSOT’s Suzhou facility received the Gold-level certification under the AWS (Alliance for Water Stewardship) International Standard for Sustainable Water Management, becoming the first company in China’s display industry to earn this distinction. This certification signifies that TCL CSOT has achieved internationally advanced standards in water resource management and marks a significant milestone on the company’s path to sustainable development.
